Mrs. Heather Gaylor
Mrs. Heather Gaylor has been in education for 19.5 years. She began her career teaching middle school science at Mooreville Middle School before moving to her hometown of Belmont to coach girl’s basketball and teach 5th and 6th grade Science. In 2006, she began teaching the GED Option program in Tishomingo County. In 2011, she moved to the Career and Technical center where she started her counseling career. She states that the best part of her job is being able to encourage students to pursue skills that they are passionate about and using those skills to be successful. She currently is serving as the Mississippi Counselor's Association Northeast Region President.
Mrs. Gaylor is married to Adam Gaylor. She has two sons, Tripp and Manning Deaton, and two step-sons, Carson and Creedon Gaylor. She enjoys being with family and friends, fishing, being outside, and working with her labrador retriever, Maggie.
