Mr. Scott Marlin

Mr. Marlin became a certified law enforcement officer for the state of Mississippi on July 23, 1998.  During his career, he has worked with local, state and federal agencies where he says he was blessed to be able to serve and protect our citizens.

For the past 15 years he was the lead training officer for local and state agencies in Mississippi.  His job was to train and certify officers in firearms, defensive tactics and local and state laws on an annual basis.

In August of 2020, Mr. Marlin began teaching the law and public safety program at the Tishomingo County Career and Technical Center.  Mr. Marlin states, "My goal as an instructor is to take my 22 yrs experience and motivate young men and women to choose a field that can be both challenging and rewarding."
