There’s just something about starting the year off with food safety and a good chicken dish! 👩‍🍳🍗 Our Culinary Arts students are kicking things off by learning that great food starts with safe food-handling practices, proper sanitation, and solid kitchen skills. And of course, the best way to put those skills into practice is to get cooking! Here’s to a great year of learning, cooking, and creating! 🔪🍽️✨ #CulinaryArts #FoodSafety #FutureChefs #CulinaryStudents #LearningInTheKitchen #CTE

📚🍽️ Thank You, iCEV! 🍽️📚 A big thank you to iCEV for treating our instructors to a wonderful lunch and providing an outstanding professional development session! During the training, our teachers were introduced to the many courses, resources, and industry-aligned materials that iCEV offers to supplement our existing Career and Technical Education curriculum. These tools will help enhance classroom instruction, provide additional learning opportunities for students, and continue preparing them for success in college, careers, and the workforce. We are always looking for ways to strengthen our programs and ensure our students have access to the best educational resources available. Opportunities like this allow our instructors to continue learning and growing so they can provide an even better experience for our students. Thank you, iCEV, for investing in our educators and supporting Career and Technical Education. We look forward to putting these new resources to work in our classrooms! 💙

We are thrilled to announce the arrival of THREE brand-new The Charlie Cart Project stations for our Culinary Arts program! These incredible mobile teaching kitchens are packed with everything our students need to build real-world culinary skills—from cooking and baking tools to food prep equipment. Each cart includes a sink, induction cooktop, griddle, and everything needed to help students explore the art and science of cooking and baking. Because these carts are mobile, they'll allow more students to participate in hands-on learning at the same time, creating even more opportunities to develop the skills they'll need for success in the workforce. A huge THANK YOU to the Tishomingo County School District Child Nutrition Program for writing the grant that made these carts possible, and a special shoutout to Director, Mary Beth Sheffield for her continued support of Career and Technical Education. Partnerships like these make an incredible difference for our students! We can't wait for our Culinary Arts students to see these amazing new additions, roll up their sleeves, and start creating. The future is looking delicious! #TCCTC #CareerTechEd #CulinaryArts #HandsOnLearning #CharlieCart #WorkforceReady #ThankYouChildNutrition
